Nexus Launches Staking Asset Governance Voting (Season 1)

Dear Nexus Community Users,

To advance the exploration of governance mechanisms, enrich the types of staking assets, and enhance ecosystem openness and community participation, Nexus will soon launch the first round of the “Staking Asset Governance Voting” campaign. In this round, users who have participated in long-term staking will jointly decide which assets will be included in the next batch of staking assets on the Nexus platform.

I. Background & Significance

  • In the Nexus model, each newly added staking asset impacts the current staking structure and ANT reward distribution;

  • To ensure the platform’s expansion path aligns with user interests, Nexus has introduced a long-term staking-driven governance mechanism, enabling real ecosystem participants to make decisions;

  • Adding more high-quality assets will attract broader user participation, increase activity, and enhance long-term value.

II. Voting Time & Participation

  • Voting Period: September 28, 2025, 00:00 – September 30, 2025, 23:59 (UTC+0)

  • Eligibility: Users currently holding valid long-term staking assets on Nexus (e.g., ANT, ASC single-token or combined staking)

  • How to Vote:

    1. Log in to the Nexus platform and enter the [Governance] section;

    2. Browse the list of candidate assets and select the token you support to vote for;

    3. Each user may only vote once per candidate asset. Voting weight is automatically calculated based on the total value of the user’s long-term staking assets, and weights update in real time, remaining open and transparent.

  • The rollout schedule will be arranged based on technical readiness and platform operations.
